The Log Home Shell.....

A pre-built Log Home Shell is just that, a completely Pre-Built and Pre-Cut Log Home Shell.  We pre-build the entire Log Home Shell here in our Log yard, disassemble, number and ship the completed Log Home Shell to your site.  In our Log Home Shell's we have 3 Options available and you can decide what option works best for you.

Option #1 of the Log Home Shell -  In this phase of the Log Shell we do not make or locate the window or door openings.  This needs to be done at the job site.   In short, we Pre-Build the entire Log Home Shell giving you 4 solid Log walls to work with.  This allows you to make design changes before delivery and during construction.  This gives you far more flexibility in the event you wanted to move a window 3' to the right or left, you can do this without any additional Log cost involved.  

Option #2 of the Log Home Shell - In this phase of the Log Shell we provide you with all the window and door openings cut in the walls, but we only do this with a complete sealed & signed blueprint so that after the Log Shell construction begins no changes would be made without a significant added cost. To cut in your window & door openings the cost is $200.00 per opening.  Remember that once a Log is cut for a window or door opening (During the Log Shell Phase) its almost impossible to change it without some significant cost involved.  We provide the do-it-yourselfers & contractors 100% technical support, and in most cases, assembly questions can be resolved with a simple phone call.

Option #3 of the Log Home Shell - In this phase of the Log Shell we provide you with all the window and door openings cut in the walls, plus we pre build the Log Roof System.  In the Log Roof System we can do either Log Rafters, Log Roof Purlins (as shown in photo above).... or we can also do an entire Log Truss Roof System with Log Purlins depending on the floor plan.  To read more about our Log Trusses  Click Here

In addition... When we Pre-Build your entire Log Home Shell or Log Corners we also set up a special web-page with photos so you can see your project during the construction phase. One of the wonderful things about having us Pre-Build your Log Home is that at the same time you or your contractor are doing the roadwork, excavation, utilities, foundation and sub-floor, we are Pre Building your entire Log Home Shell. Then, when we deliver your Log Home Shell or Log Corners this will save you significant on site construction time.

Our Pre Built Log Corners.....

   About Our Log Corners.....  If you request, we will pre-build all the Log Corners here at our Log yard making sure all notching, corner location, and fitting is done correctly.  We assemble the entire Log Corner to the specified wall height, then disassemble the corner and number each Log as to its location.  We do this for all the corners in the home (Typically there are Four Corners in a Home)  Then we bunk each corner section, clearly marking them, and give you a re-assembly list to insure proper stacking of that corner.  The Log Corners are then loaded on trucks and delivered to your site along with the rest of the Log components.   Re-assembly of the Log Corners is as easy as A-B-C  and all you'll have to do is fill in the Log wall section between the corners, and your new Log Home will be up in record time.
